ASPARAGUS FESTIVAL

We went to the asparagus festival today and it was a little bit of a bust. To start it off, we had to park in a not so friendly neighborhood, then it was honestly just to hot to walk around with those thousands of people. I was on a hunt for the asparagus ice cream and never ever found it! They did truly have everything you can think of with asparagus. The deep fried asparagus was a hit. Aspararitas (asparagus margaritas) were surprisingly yummy. We mainly walked the art section and we got to watch a woman paint a Tuscan style landscape. Then we bumped into the cutest little hut filled with wooden toys that I seriously fell in love with. The airplanes were adorable. The sweat dripping down our backs and the lack of asparagus ice cream-finding skills got the best of us (not to mention the wheels of the stroller decided to fail) and we called it a day. The highlight of our day was cuddling up after an exhausting day and watching The Office on Netflix!
Next up is the Garlic festival... and I love me some garlic =)
