MAKING CRAYONS

I am an avid reader of Miss James and her incredibly adorable family over at her blog: BleuBird. She demonstrated the cutest DIY crayon molds. As an ex preschool teacher, aspiring elementary teacher, and current mommy to a one year old; I was all over this one! I was a little disappointed in myself for not have ever done this before.  Instead of heart molds, Roman and I used star molds since we already had them. It was really alot of fun to do. I was glad that Roman could be so involved with project. Altough I am sure it was unintentional he helped with braking the crayons and was somewhat capable of peeling the paper off of them. He watched them melt in the oven and lastly got to COLOR! Again, I love this project. The best part is you can adjust it to any holiday or theme you want.
