11 THINGS

I saw this while reading Danielle's awesome blog. It seemed like a fun little thing I could while I "pretend to sleep" next to Roman, just so he can get a nap in. (Ah he almost woke up!) Ok so he did wake up, but now (hours later) he is in bed for the night. So here goes:

There are five rules:
1. Post these rules.
2. Post a photo of yourself and 11 random things.
3. Answer the questions set for you in the original post.
4. Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them.
5. Go to their blog/twitter and tell them you've tagged them.

1. I can understand Portuguese perrrrrrrrfectly, but can't speak it for the life of me. If you ask me to translate a word, ill butcher it, but know how to do it. It is something about making sentences in Portuguese that just doesn't click in this brain of mine. I can speak better Spanish and I only took it in high school and a semester in college.

2. I can out dance anyone! I'm not talking about style or technique, but I can seriously dance for hours/day/weeks! You get the point. I love it. The pic above is me at the I.D. Festival. It started at 10:00 am and ended at 10:00 pm. I swear I danced the entire time. When I woke up the next day my calves would cramp up just from me attempting to walk. It was ridiculous, but so worth it.

3.  I am such a true Gemini. To the world I like to show my happy side. Once you get to know, you realize I fall in and out of love with things (objects) easily. I am moody and an ultimate cry baby (Poor Sal).  I would just consider myself a very passionate person so everything affects me. If I see something I don't like on the news, It will seriously alter my entire day. Even my style screams Gemini. Some days I want to look like a pinup and other days I am wearing a t-shirt, jeans, and uggs with no make up. I am literally a walking contradiction.

4. I got my driving license when I was 22 years old. Something I hardly ever tell anyone is that I have epilepsy. I couldn't drive until I had my seizures under control. Then after a while I just sort of got used to not driving and just got scared of the whole idea of me driving. Sal was the one to truly push me and have me conquer my fear. Now, I love to drive. You can find me bumping my music to the max and me singing like no one can see me.

5. I HATE mayonnaise. EW.  If someone makes a sandwich for me and it is in there that fine, I like how it tastes. I just can't open the jar and scoop it out myself. It grosses me out to the max!

6. It's sort of embarrassing how large of a burrito I can eat. They are my obsession. I love Chipotle. I think they are so yum. For a more authentic style burrito my favorite place is called Taqueria Estrella and they have more of these in my town than Starbucks that's how good they are. They just opened one up near our house and it has a drive thru. Ah, temptation. I feel like I can talk about burritos forever... haha

7. Roman was a "pleasant surprise" and him coming into my life is truly the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. I love being his mother.

8. I am messy. I  have gotten so much better after having Roman and Sal and I moving into our first home together. I just never put anything back right away, but then I get into ultimate cleaning modes and I will literally clean all day and want to redecorate and reorganize everything.

9. This week I bought 5 jackets while thrifting and spent 5 buckaroos total. Yup they were one dollar each and fit my short arms amazingly. Five jackets though? That is a lot because I already have so many! I even kept them in my trunk and snuck them to my closet when Sal wasn't around. I have a serious thrifting problem.

10.  My relationship with Sal totally reminds me of the movie Along Came Polly. There is just to many similarities. We are complete opposites and Sal's reaction to spicy food is pretty similar to Ben Stiller's character.

11. I have lived in the bay area region my whole life. My ultimate goal would be to move to San Diego. I looooove the beach. San Diego just has it all for me. The city life, weather, and ocean. It's hard to get such an awesome combo. I would love to raise Roman next to the water and be a little beach bum baby!
